HEI wins National Design Prize 2009
Solar light Champ awarded in the category product design - capital goods
Out of 206 submissions the solar light Champ was selected by the international jury and awarded in the category product design - capital goods.
The aesthetic and elegant design as well as the diverse applications were convincing.
Champ shows that modern solar technology and outstanding design are not contradictory; in fact they can enter into an extraordinary symbiosis.
Dr. Reinhold Mitterlehner, Federal Minister of Economy, Family and Youth: "Another positive tendency is the projects' increasingly ecological outlook. Climate change and the safeguarding of resources are no longer catchwords, but established company philosophies. One thing is clear: it is ecological aspects that open up a wide field for unique and promising product innovation."
