Reference: University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna

The forecourt of the new biotechnology center of the University of Agricultural Sciences, the "Vienna Institute of Bio Technology" is illuminated with solar energy.

The four-storey building with a total area of 30,000 square meters was completed in autumn 2009.

The University of Agricultural Sciences is an Austrian university whose training priorities lie in renewable energy sources. Therefore the innovative use of naturally occurring raw materials is of utmost importance, making their use available for future generations.

The management of the university has decided to install the innovative solar lights from HEI in front of the main entrance in order to set a visible sign for renewable resources.
