The off-grid solar light Champ 190 illuminates the largest and most splendid monastery in Spain.

Monestir de Santa Maria de Poblet is the largest and best-preserved Cistercian monastery in the West and was recorded to the UNESCO-list in 1991 as world heritage of mankind.

For a long time the Cistercians were looking for an efficient and sustainable lighting system. With hei solar light™ they have found the perfect solution. As a first step the residence square of the monastery was equipped with Champ 190. A further step comprises the illumination of the outer locations with HEI-technology.

Father Lluc, prior of Santa Maria de Poblet: "As our monastery is a World Heritage Site, we have been looking for environment-friendly lighting products hoping to harmonize beauty and sustainability. HEI Solar Light is introducing a unique and new energy-efficient lighting technology. We have chosen hei solar light™ because of their excellent design and trouble-free performance."
